We know that the old CMD
method using Admin Privileges is still working but most probably at this time you will be getting an error caused by the activation server that has already restricted the leaked serial numbers , so we strongly recommend you to use our activators and keep your fingers crossed for further releases. What to do if it doesn't work ?
- Make sure you ran it as Admin
- The KMS server might be down, more servers will be included in future releases
- Make sure you have the proper KMS key that you need installed, more keys and auto OS detection will be added in future releases
- Getting error saying something about non-core, you're inserting a key not for your version
- Do not use a proxy

Don't forget to add this in admin command prompt after KMS activation
slmgr /skms localhost
The command will set KMS address to localhost and will prevent unnecessary pings (every 30 days) to internet KMS server after activation.

slmgr /skms kms-c.no-ip.org:1688
slmgr /ato
slmgr /dli
Old KMS server (kms-c.no-ip.org) status: OFF-LINE
Don't forget to add this in admin command prompt after KMS activation

Will the KMS activation remove the activation watermark from my copy of Windows 8?
Yes.
I installed WMC (Windows Media Center) can I still activate my copy of Windows?
Do not use the released key to install WMC, you can NOT successfully activate Windows 8 with the public KMS server if you use the WMC key.
Is there a Mini-KMS server available that I can run on my own machine?
No, not yet, and we do not know when one will be released.
I already activated with the KMS server, is there anything else I should do?
You can back-up your activation by making a backup of these folders:
C:\Windows\System32\spp\store
C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WSLicense (This might not be needed)
This way you may revert back should things go wrong.
It is also a good idea to remove the defunct server's host from your machine.
Open a Command Prompt as Administrator and run: 'slmgr /ckms'
Where can I find Window Essentials 2012?
Oddly enough some of these tools are not fully 'Metro' compatable.
