Follow these steps and it will install fine (thanks randinito):
1. Install SF (don't run).
2. Open the keygen file. In a drop-down menu choose Sound Forge 10 Series.
3. Click on "Patch..." (the window will pop up, asking you to choose the directory, so go to the one where you've installed it, prolly C:\Program Files\Sony\Sound Forge 10\). The window will pop up saying you've patched it successfully.
4. Now run SF. It will ask you for a Serial Number (look at your keygen window, it should start with "164"). Copy and paste it into the Sony window.
5. Then DO NOT register it online. Go for "another computer" option. Click next till the point when it asks you to save the file. Just save it somewhere. I just saved it where it prompted, no biggie. Then click next till it asks you to input your "Activation/Authentication Code", so you just copy and paste it into that Sony window again.
You're all set.

cazor please help me my sony sound forge 10 cant register it says there that the autentication code is not valid =( any help there??? i followed the instructions but still im stuck on the registration and when i patch it in the folder program it has an error

CaZor I thank you very much for taking the time of putting this online! ... well Please could you give me some assitance I m having problems with the Auth when I try to patch it into C:/programing/sony it says DI KEYGAN: AN ERROR HAS OCCURED WHILE PATCHING THE FILE(S)!
Please man give me some instructions how to crack it ... many people having this issue too please take the time to write me back i appreaciate all ur efforts.
Everything works perfectly. If you're having problems with the key/authentication process make sure you've run the patch FIRST and selected the proper folder to run the patch in (likely program files/Sony). Then restart and run the keygen and go through the instructions as posted. Thanks h33t!
What you have to do is apply the fix by running the keygen and clicking "patch" n follow the instructions carefully, notice the directions on the pop up windows are different each time. Then after is applies itself (changing out the files) RESTART and THEN use the KeyGen's Serial Num + Activation Code. Thanks millions CraZor!!! EXCELLENT WORK!!!
