The Idols continue their mission to bring back "True Metal": Their pure Metal sound has drawn comparisons to Classic NWOBHM giants, Iron Maiden, Saxon, and Judas Priest, while their blazing live show that leaves the crowd screaming for more!
Midnight Idols have have achieved impressive sales, and international acclaim for both their self-produced debut "We Rule The Night" and the follow-up, "NIGHTRULERS", done with renowned producer Kurt Bloch (Supersuckers, Zeke, Nashville Pussy...) at the console... Not bad for having no label support!
In fall '08 the Idols returned to the studio to record an EP: The heaviest, most aggressive Idols release yet...
Speaking of which; the band just let a limited pressing EP slip to labels, radio stations, zines, and the hardcore fanbase. The EP is titled "Sworn To The Night", and the title track recently enjoyed a nice run (4 wins!) as KISW FM 99.9 Seattle's Loud & Local Cock Fight Champion!!
Although the band was originally considering a bigger pressing and broad-scale release of the EP for general purposes, the limited run EP garnered some serious label interest, and the band wound up securing a deal with Italy's Metal On Metal Records™. Look for the band's label debut Summer 09!
